opening night in Eugene

Daughters,
Representing us all, I went to the opening night for the show in Eugene, Oregon and I will have a few pictures soon.
Let me say, the altered books were considered a smash hit! They were marveled at by about 800-900 people. Well done ladies!

to reflect a life well spent

Mid Century Plaid The green plaid dress
Had a stiff underskirt
The plaid of the blue skirt
Was called Nova Scotia

The red plaid dress
Had a long navy tie
That when I was bored
Could be braided and played with

The sophisticated skirt
Was a gray plaid
With a subtle orange stripe
Gracing an inverted pleat

These are not memories
Of fabric and skirts
But of the clothing and
Draping of petite dreams

I hear plaid is coming back
Strong this fall
I am draping a purple dream

thanks, goody, they have arrived safely. but i am at a complete loss what they are? are this "the truffels" - both of them?? please update me here, if you can.
i'll be gone for the weekend (to riga - with my 14-year-old daughter) but back on monday.

Goody! It's been so long! Yes, one of the journals is the Truffle (colored cover). The one with the Kraft paper cover is just an other--I don't think it has a name yet. Hope you are enjoying your daughter (and your summer)! :heart:
